What we do
The NISS Foundation, Inc. is a North Carolina based, national, public charity/non-profit organization under IRS section 501(c)(3). As such, NISS™ helps those that need physical and mental recovery from illness and injury (our focus is on children in need). NISS™ also is available to work with other major national non-profit organizations and children’s hospitals to bring assistance to children and families enduring life threatening illness, trauma or other life-altering events. In these circumstances families are often bed-side for months at a time. Once the ailing family member is released from direct medical care, NISS™ looks to bring the family together to help the recovery process. This bonding effort enhances the healing by allowing the entire family to relax and recover … together. This is a focus on the family - to share what they have gone through and help each other find normalcy in an environment that is both relaxing and peaceful. NISS™ will be working with major hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, national resorts, property management companies and property owners to provide top destinations to accommodate the families that NISS™ selects for such recovery. NISS™ has additional interests such as; helping abused children, helping children with disabilities, helping children displaced, injured, or traumatized from disaster, and helping children and families that have become broken from alcohol or drug addiction.
In addition to helping families recover from physical and mental traumas, by default we help those that wish to contribute to our good will efforts by providing powerful, widely used financial tools that range Charitable Trusts to Charitable Bargain Installment Sales, to even Private & Commercial Loan Payoff through our CD Leveraging program. NISS™ works with thousands of professionals such as attorneys, accountants, advisors, brokers, and real estate professionals to help the general public with these needed tools. Our staff and network of legal and financial consultants and contractors allow NISS™ to provide confidential review and analysis of a prospective donor/client’s situation with easy to understand proposals and illustrations on various programs that can be used to help their situation – which in-turn allow NISS™ to operate and help those that either are or have endured personal trauma. So many people now find themselves tax-trapped, and/or illiquid, with appreciated assets (such as Real Estate, etc.) that now need to be efficiently converted into a tax-efficient income stream with underlying asset protection. NISS™ has many was to solve this nationwide epidemic enhancing your personal planning.
